Our Mission

Our mission is to support 863 (Thurston) Squadron in delivering a comprehensive and enriching cadet experience. We aim to facilitate activities, provide funding for essential equipment, and ensure that every cadet has the opportunity to develop their skills and achieve their potential.

What We Do

The TCT is involved in a wide range of activities, including:

Fundraising: We organise fundraising events and initiatives to generate funds for squadron activities, equipment, and facilities. These funds help to subsidise costs for camps, training, and other essential experiences that enhance the cadet program.

Event Support: From planning and coordinating events to providing logistical support, the Civilian Committee ensures that all squadron events run smoothly. This includes everything from local community engagements to larger, squadron-wide activities.

Community Engagement: We act as a bridge between the squadron and the local community, fostering strong relationships and promoting the positive impact of the Air Cadets. Our goal is to raise awareness of the valuable opportunities provided by 863 (Thurston) Squadron.
